The beach can be reached via 180 steps. There is no shortage of green spaces where typical local trees, plants and flowers such as olive and lemon trees thrive. The spaces are accessible via the typical 70 stairs that characterise the Amalfi Coast area.
The value of this property lies in its history dating back to 1905, when it was purchased by Alfred Pattinson, and later became the property of the sisters Raimonda and Fausta Gaetani (Ammaniti's mother), well-known designers.
