An extremely unique offering filled with peace and beauty, a place where time appears to have stopped, where there is only you, natural surrounds, pure clean air and a deep waterfront where you can reflect on how good life really can be...simply unplug and relax!
Our newly renovated house has truly breathtaking views from almost every room and entertaining areas.
Enjoy fishing, kayaking, swimming and paddle boarding from our jetty or small tidal beach.
Our home is the closest boat ride to land (boat launch) in the area.
THE SPACE
A beautiful, spacious, newly renovated house located on the idyllic waterfront of the Hawkesbury River only a 1-hour drive from Sydney. The property is only accessible by boat (boat hire, pickup and water taxi details provided below).
Nothing can compare to the untouched natural beauty and idyllic setting of this striking waterfront residence. This luxurious private home is set within the exclusive enclave of Marlow.
The accommodation features 3 bedrooms - a master queen riverfront bedroom with en suite, a riverfront king bedroom (which can be configured as 2 king singles on request) and another queen bedroom. All beds have electric blankets. We have a sleeper couch in the lounge, please contact us if you'll be using it. All linen and bath towels are supplied, please bring your own swimming towels.
Although the house is ideally suited for 3 couples or 1-2 families, the stunning setting, complete with spa is perfect for a romantic getaway for 2.
The house has 2 modern bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, large open plan lounge and dining area, 2 fabulous entertaining decks with outdoor dining and lounges, stunning outdoor sandstone open fireplace & undercover entertaining area. Glass sliding doors take you out to the entertaining decks which have both a gas and coal BBQ. It's an entertainer’s paradise.
The lounge has a smart TV with Stan and Netflix (with your account login) and bedrooms have TVs with Chromecast. There is WiFi at the house, but this can be erratic. Optus provides the best phone signal.
Spend your time fishing from the jetty (you may even catch your dinner!), paddling our kayaks (or bring your own), stand-up paddle boarding and swimming. Kayaks, paddle board & fishing rods are supplied. The Hawkesbury is a tidal river, please use caution and always wear a life jacket (provided).
Alternatively, relaxing on the sun drenched decks (even during winter the north facing aspect and river locality makes for a very warm deck), cooling off with a swim in the river, or on cooler nights warming up at sunset in the hot tub watching the stars. The sunsets from the deck are nothing short of spectacular.
If you are feeling adventurous, there's no track or path to follow, but feel free to explore the walk at the back of the house.
The Hawkesbury offers birdwatching or you can chill with visits from some of our native guests including goannas or the occasional wallaby.
Nearby, by boat only access, there are secluded sandy beaches, some lovely walks or dining at the Berowra Waters Inn, The Spencer Thai, The Anchor Spencer (live music on Sundays) or the world renowned Saddles Restaurant.
Basic supplies are provided (oil, salt, pepper, sugar, teabags). Please remember to bring your own food. If you have a boat or tinny, limited supplies can be bought at The Anchor, Spencer. Alternatively, it’s a 15-min drive into Gosford’s major supermarkets, from Greenman's Caravan Park.

Depending on availability, the owners can offer complimentary pick up and drop off from Greenmans Caravan Park.
Trent & Bianca from The Anchor Spencer offer a tender service from either Spencer or Greenmans.
Your own boat (mooring on our jetty). Launch from Greenman's Caravan Park (3 mins boat ride to our home, $10/night parking), Brooklyn, Mooney Mooney or Spencer.
Boat hire from Hawkesbury Afloat or Brooklyn Central.
The Riverboat Postman (departs 10am Brooklyn/departs 11.45am Marlow) $20 this only operates Mon-Fri.
Hawkesbury Marina Water Taxi (approx. $180 for 2 people plus $15 per additional person).

If you are having difficulty organising transport, please contact us as we may be able to organise or offer an alternative.
We highly recommend hiring a boat as there is so much to explore on this beautiful waterway.
Upon arrival at the jetty there are about 30 stairs to climb to reach the house (bear this in mind when you pack!), unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible.
OTHER DETAILS TO NOTE
Water is our most precious resource, please use mindfully.
Drinking water is available in the kitchen, it comes from a local spring and we have installed a sink top water filter, if you are not comfortable with this please bring drinking water.
Don't forget to bring your favourite Nespresso pods.
