Visitors can relax and unwind in the midst of nature without worrying about the hassles of setting up a tent and carrying camping gear.
Restrooms/showers are situated about 1000 feet uphill of each site, with only site A being a bit further by around 200 feet. There are also others situated through out the park, with the next closest being about 1/2 a mile back towards the check in, The dumpster is about 20 feet away from the restroom area as well. Each site has its own water spout within 50 feet of the tent, usually right next to parking. Each site has a reserved parking space within 50 feet of the tent most feature double parking. All sites face the lake and sit about 50 feet from the waterfront. Site D is about 100 feet from the Chinquapin trailhead, which circles around the entire Huntsville State Park. There is a playground area for kids about 1 mile from campsites that campers will pass on the right-hand side upon entering the park. The park usually features swimming, fishing, hiking, an amphitheater, a nature center, and boat rentals.

Other Things to Note:
- Pack your own food, water, firewood, bedding, bug spray and flashlights
- There is no electricity, AC, or heater at your Tentrr site, pack accordingly
- Anything you pack in, you must pack out. This is "leave no trace" camping and all sites will be inspected for cleanliness and damages before the next camper
- All trash MUST be deposited in the designated trash receptacle that is labeled on the map. Please notes : If you do not follow this rule, you will be charged a cleaning fee of at least $50
- Pets are allowed, but must be kept on a leash no longer than six feet at all times and be supervised by their owner. They are not allowed in any buildings or designated swimming areas, and you must clean up after your pet.
- Please remember to respect and keep your distance from our wildlife in the park. Feeding any wildlife is prohibited. Be aware and watch all surrounding areas when going off trail.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property.
If a Camp Guide submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
