Located on the beautiful Streaked Mountain of Buckfield Maine just two miles from downtown where you'll find a well-stocked grocery store "Tiltons Market" and the famous Buckfield mall, The town of Norway and South Paris located just 10 miles away where you will find many restaurants and stores and just fifteen miles from the Oxford Casino. Oxford County is the home of semi-precious gemstones, there are many mines in the area with the most well-known being Mount Mica. On your hikes around the campsite, you will find minerals such as quarts, mica, feldspar tourmaline, and quarts crystals all located close to the campsite. With hiking trails located just across the road on 1200 acres of conservation land that contain South Pond, with great fishing, and canoeing. This campsite is for 2 campers only! This is not really a glamping site, but more of a "camping made easy site". So, bring your sleeping bag, pillows, and camp wood (campfire wood available on various roadside stands on your way to the property) or explore around the property to find plenty of wood to feed your fire. If you love to cook! this is your campsite with fresh herbs and plenty of cooking equipment for a gourmet camp meal. Also, a variety of mints, lemongrass, and lavender (bug repellent)for that perfect cocktail to go with your gourmet meal. Special cooking grate for true open-fire cooking, a great time to test your campfire cooking skills. Relax and enjoy this super private piece of heaven.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Other Things to Note:
Everything you Carry in You must Carry Out.
You must carry out your GARBAGE, and POO BAG($150 fee to dispose of your loo bag), there are no trash receptacles for you to drop them off at on the property. Please leave the site and all its contents as you found them. There will be a cleaning/damage and missing/replacement item fee if the campsite and tent as well as contents are not left accordingly. Please make sure the tent is completely closed up when you leave to avoid any damage to the tent and the contents inside. This is a camping made easy site not a glamping site!
Camp Fires Allowed. Firewood is not provided, but plenty around the property to find and burn. Also, there are plenty of roadside stands for bundled firewood to purchase. Your campfire must be fully extinguished every time you leave the campsite!
Pets Allowed. Please pick up after them. Dog bed and dog dishes are at the campsite.
We do not provide bedding, linens, or pillows for the bed, just a very comfortable bed with a nice mattress topper... Bring your sleeping bag or linens and pillows.
Leave the campsite as how it was presented to you.
This is 2 person site only, with no parties allowed, and no extra guests allowed. We strive to keep our campsite very private.
Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
