Enjoy the peacefulness of a mountainside glamping experience in a spacious tent with a queen size bed. Hike up the mountain behind you or nearby mountains, tubing and trout fishing nearby in Toe River, gem finding in various locations, visiting art shops, or sitting by your fire pit enjoying the amazing views. Showers and toilet on premises. All water is spring fed. Close to Spruce Pine, Little Switzerland, Burnsville and one hour from Asheville.
If more than 4, theres a 6-man tent to accommodate. We have an area set aside for this. There are cots available. Please let us know when you make your reservation if you need so we can set this aside for you.

Guest Access:
This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature!
Your Tentrr campsite includes a 10'x12' (120 square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed with a memory foam mattress. The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, and 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs.
Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation.
Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean.
Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days.
Other Things to Note:
Park in our parking lot. We will show you the campsite. Our office for checkin closes at 7 pm so if you are arriving later than 7 pm please let us know in advance. We will accommodate you if at all possible. Taking you to your site in daylight is better as then you can see your surroundings.
Stay aware and admire the wildlife. NO feeding the wildlife.
This is a camping experience for single and couples. This is not small child friendly. This is a very calm and peaceful place and we would like anyone visiting to honor and enjoy all of the peaceful outdoor aspects of the site. We expect everything to be left as found and respected. Be considerate of the other campers and please no loud music or rowdiness. We have a quiet time between 10 pm and 7 am.
Please let us know if there is anything you need to make your stay more comfortable or enjoyable. You can purchase wood from various local locations. You may also collect dead and down wood found in the nearby woods for campfires and kindling.
IMPORTANT! We have bedding for two people who are staying in the canvas tent. If you have extra people beyond two, you must bring your own bedding. Also, because this is an outdoor camping experience, just want to remind you to bring necessary equipment to camp.
Maximum number of people is 6.
IMPORTANT! WHILE WE DO ALLOW SMALL AND MEDIUM SIZED VERY WELL BEHAVED PETS, IF YOU HAVE A PET, PLEASE REACH OUT TO US AND TELL US ABOUT THEM AND SEND A PHOTO SO THAT WE CAN FORMALLY APPROVE THEM. Pets must stay with you at all times. You must clean after your dog. If your dog is temperamental we will ask you to leave. Safety is our number one concern.
WINTER SEASON: OCT 1ST TO APRIL 1ST
HEATER IS PROVIDED IN THE TENT FOR THOSE CHILLY NIGHTS. WE PROVIDE ONE PROPANE TANK OF FUEL PER STAY AND OTHERS CAN BE PURCHASED IF NEEDED. IF YOU ARE CAMPING BEFORE OR AFTER THE WINTER SEASON AND NEED A TENT HEATER PLEASE JUST ASK. WE WANT YOU TO ENJOY YOUR STAY.
SHOWERS ARE NOT PROVIDED DURING THESE MONTHS TO PREVENT FREEZING. IF WE ARE IN A WARM SPELL AND YOU WANT A SHOWER PLEASE JUST ASK AND WE WILL TRY TO ACCOMODATE.

Interaction with Guests:
Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location.
If a Tentrr Host submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the host's property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set!
Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your confirmation email. Your Tentrr Host is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf, and they are unable to waive any cancellation fees (if applicable).
