Located in the quiet and cozy Greenway Park neighborhood, this home is a quick nine-minute walk to the beach and just two miles east of Seaside. The community has its own pool, which is allowed for use by guests of this house, and is adjacent to a state wildlife preserve, where you can access miles of walking and biking trails.
The home is characterized by bright and breezy coastal decor, with a soothing blue and navy color palette and glossy, modern accents and fixtures throughout. Dark hardwood floors contrast nicely with light wood furniture and the occasional pop of orange or red upholstery.
Guests are first greeted by a charming sitting area on the deck outside the front door. Once inside, the spacious living room awaits with two cushy couches and the 55-inch flatscreen cable TV. There's also a Blu-ray player for lazy days indoors. Complimentary WiFi throughout the house makes it easy to share your best beach photos with friends and family back home, or search for the nearest happy hour hotspot.
The open living room and kitchen floor plan gives the space an airy feel and makes it easy for guests to enjoy each other's company. The kitchen is fully stocked and utterly chic, with stainless steel appliances, a ceramic tile backsplash, and granite countertops. In the dining room, there's a large table with seating for eight, though there are two extra chairs located nearby. The banquet table can seat 10 comfortably.
Outside, behind the house, grill masters will be pleased to find the extra large built in charcoal grill, perfect for preparing fresh fish or flipping burgers for the gang.
You'll find the first master bedroom on the first level of this home. Cozy up on the king-size bed while flipping through channels on the cable flatscreen TV. This room has a private full bathroom, but there's also a half-bath on the first level as well.
On the second level, guests can choose from several more sleeping arrangements. There is a second king-size bed in the second master bedroom, which also boasts its own private full bathroom. A private porch means you can wake up every morning and step outside to fresh air and Florida sunshine. The final two bedrooms share a full bathroom. The first has a queen-size bed, and the second hosts two sets of bunked twin-size beds - perfect for any kids tagging along! In all, 10 guests will find a comfortable and peaceful place to recharge after long beach days.
Other amenities include a private washer/dryer and two complimentary adult bikes, which you'll definitely want to take advantage of for exploring the nearby trails.
Since the beach is just a nine-minute walk (or a five-minute bicycle ride) away, there's no excuse not to spend your days soaking up sun with your toes in the sand. You'll also be within walking and biking distance of Eastern Lake, which flows into the Gulf. The lake is a great place to fish, and it's also ideal for kayaking and swimming because the waters are much calmer than the Gulf waves.
Explore Timpoochee Trail, a 19-mile paved pedestrian and bike path that runs along 30A from Dune Allen Beach to Rosemary Beach. Highway 30A is lined with eclectic villages, shopping opportunities, golf courses, lakes, and thousands of acres of protected habitats like the one aligning the Greenway Park neighborhood. Deciding what to do for the day or what new restaurant to try for dinner is as easy as going for a quick drive. You're sure to have plenty to choose from!
