Whether you have come for a visit to Mountain High or to get some fresh air on one of the beautiful hikes around town, when it’s time to unwind and take a break, we have you covered. The Pine Overlook’s design was inspired by the beauty of this area. This modern mountain home is full of various woods, metal and stones that create a balance to the space.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms:
Each bedroom offers a little piece of our favorite spots around Wrightwood. There is one bedroom on the first floor and the remaining bedrooms are on the second floor. All beds offer the highly rated Zinus memory foam pressure reducing mattress. They are a good balance of firm yet a soft fit around the body. If you need extra sheets, they are located in the bedroom closets. The half bathroom is located on the first floor and the 2 full bathrooms are located on the second floor. Complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash will be found in the full bathrooms. Soap and lotion available in all bathrooms. Hot tub towels are located in the half bathroom downstairs.
The main bedroom is located at the end of the hall on the second floor. This king suite offers a full bathroom, along with a full-length mirror and smart tv.
The second bedroom is located on the main floor and offers a queen size bed, full length mirror, and a smart tv.
The third bedroom is located at the top of the stairs to the right and offers a queen size bed, desk for workers, and beautiful mountain views for inspiration.
Our last room is also located upstairs and offers a full-size day bed perfect for a great night of sleep or an afternoon nap.
Kitchen & Living:
You enter the home in the dining room with the living room on the left and the kitchen to the right.
The updated kitchen includes an all-new fridge with filtered water, gas range stove/oven, microwave, and dishwasher. The kitchen is stocked with plenty of items that any cook in the group should be able to whip up a delicious meal.
The dining room sits right in the middle of the living space with a table and 6 chairs. (Extra folding table and chairs located in boardgame closet.) The coffee/tea bar is also located in the dining room. Here you will find a Keurig, French press, water boiler, and all the fixings to make that perfect cup to start your day.
The cozy living room offers the chance for entertainment or relaxation. Put on a record from our broad collection, sit back on one of the couches and enjoy a nice fire in our woodburning stove. If you’re in the mood for a movie we have a 55-inch ROKU TV, Netflix included, with surround sound. Laundry room is located upstairs next to the main bathroom. Extra towels and washcloths will be located here along with a fan, iron and ironing board, step stool, and broom.
Outdoor Space:
Just off the living room is a deck with breathtaking mountain views. Two loveseats and a chair surround a propane fire pit. Top place to stargaze on a clear night.
Off of the kitchen you’ll find another deck with a propane grill. Step down from the deck and unwind in our salt water hot tub. Perfect for your muscles after a full day at Mountain High.
Rules and Extra Details:
Parking: We have parking for two vehicles right in front of the house. Guest and visitors should comply with the parking regulations and requirements. During times of snow, make sure not to block the path of snowplows.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed on property. Evidence of such may result in extra charges.
Damages and Breakages: Sometimes accidents happen. If anything breaks or isn't working, please let us know as soon as possible so we can replace or fix the problem. We ask that you don't move around furniture to help protect the floors from being scratched. We also asked that if your body is dirty to rinse off before entering the hot tub. The cost of any damages or breakages caused by negligence may result in extra charges.
Security Cameras and Noise Detectors: There is a blink motion detector camera located by the front door of the property that will stay on during your stay. A noise detector is located in the common area to comply with the short-term rental county rules. If the noise level exceeds the maximum level, we will reach out to you so you can adjust the noise level. If noise levels keep exceeding maximum levels after you have been notified, you may be asked to leave the property. San Bernardino County is very strict on keeping noise levels to a reasonable level.
Septic System: This house is on a septic system, so we ask that you only flush toilet paper and no other products. Small trashcans are located in each bathroom for disposal of sanitary products. Also please don't dispose of food down the sink. This also harms the septic system, so we ask that you use the trashcan to dispose of kitchen scraps and coffee grounds.
Stairs: Stairs must be used to enter the home and to access most bedrooms and the full bathrooms. There is only a half bathroom on the main floor. The two full bathrooms are located on the second floor.
Travel Conditions: Wrightwood is a four seasons town so we recommend checking road conditions and weather before your stay. Depending on the time of year you may experience heavy snows, rain, and high winds. 4x4, All Wheel Drive, or chains may also be required during your stay. We will not issue refunds for weather related issues out of our control.
Heating/AC: The thermostat is located in the hallway upstairs. To adjust, tap the degrees symbol and use the plus or minus buttons to adjust to your liking. The heater is located in the attic, so the bedrooms upstairs get warmer than the bedroom downstairs. There is a portable heater in the closet in the downstairs bedroom just in case people want to get a little cozier.
Child Safety: Our home has stairs and is not child proof. We leave it up to you to decide if our property is appropriate for your stay. Please do not leave children unsupervised, you are fully responsible for their safety at all times.
Pets and Service Animals: Pets are not permitted on property unless they are service animals or emotional support animals. We ask that you let us know beforehand if you have a service animal. Animals must be leashed at all times when in public space, housebroken and not left alone at the property without prior approval.
Water: It takes about a minute for the water to heat up. The house is also on a soft water system.
Fire System: The house is set up on a sprinkler system in the case of a fire. Smoke/Carbon Monoxide detectors are wired into the house. It is rare but possible for the hallway fire alarm to go off by hot steam from the main bathroom. Push the alarm for a few seconds to stop if that occurs.
Cleaning: We don't believe in the guest taking on the big cleaning chores, but we do ask that you take good care of the home as if it was your own. If you wouldn’t mind putting your dishes in the dishwasher and taking your garbage/recycle to the bins that would be great! We will take care of the laundry, but if you would leave any used towels in the bathtub that would be amazing. We do keep some cleaning supplies under the kitchen sink just in case you need to clean up anything.
Neighborhood: We live in a quiet neighborhood and ask that you follow local laws and the information on the good neighbor brochure.
In case of emergency: There are two fire extinguishers on the property. One is downstairs in the hall closet and the other is located upstairs in the laundry room. The left upper cabinet in the kitchen next to the sink is where you will find the first aid kit, flashlights, and basic tools. In the case of a power outage, we added solar to the house. Various plugs around the property will work during an outage.
