## Neighborhood
Your holiday home is situated in one of Zandvoort's most popular neighbourhoods. The town centre and beach are within cycling distance, but you are just far enough to escape the noise and traffic.
Zandvoort has something to offer for almost everyone. From lots of beach clubs and restaurants in summer, you can have great food and drinks to more quietness to enjoy nature in the winter. Generally, all you need is close by and mostly within walking distance. So what are you looking for in your trip?
Two national parks are embedded in the village: De Waterleidingduinen and Kennemerduinen. So besides strolling the beach, those are two great areas to walk or cycle. There's so much more you can do! For instance, mountain biking around the race track, learning how to wave- or kitesurf, and you can even get your PADI. Did you know that Zandvoort also has a nude beach as well?
We also have a great race track called "Circuit Park Zandvoort" (1.2 km), Owned by a member of the Dutch Royal family. They organize many activities and festivities there, like DTM and Historic Grand Prix. So maybe you want to get your race license?
Last but not least, you can quickly get to Amsterdam by public transport from Zandvoort, combining an exciting city trip with a relaxing getaway next to the beach.

## Transit
Zandvoort aan Zee has its train station, which you can get in just 27 minutes from Amsterdam Central and 45 minutes from Schiphol Airport. The train station is a 10-minute walk from the accommodation and a bus stop at 5. There is a direct line to Haarlem as well. So, public transport will get you around very well, depending on your plans. We will share a handy website to plan your route.
Haarlem is within cycling distance from Zandvoort, and Amsterdam can be reached by train within 25 minutes. This train also stops in Haarlem and goes regularly from early morning until late night.
