Welcome to Jimmy's Beach House at Sunset Lake, a beautiful lakeside retreat managed by My Favorite Home Away From Home, offering everything you need for a perfect getaway. This spacious home sits on the tranquil shores of Sunset Lake, a private, spring-fed, sand-bottom lake that’s ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, and more. With your own private beach, you have direct access to the water for endless relaxation and outdoor adventures.
The 2,800 sq ft home features 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms that comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests. Two large living areas, 2 electric fireplaces, a downstairs wet bar/kitchenette area, gaming area, back porch, walkout basement and a patio with a firepit area provide plenty of space for groups to spread out and unwind. Whether you're lounging indoors, enjoying the serene views on the porch, spending time on the beach or in the lake, or gathering around the outdoor firepit, there's a place for everyone to relax and connect.
Inside, you'll find TVs in both living areas as well as in the den. Each Samsung Frame TV has streaming services accessible via guest accounts.The fun-filled basement has something for everyone, from little ones to the young-at-heart! Dive into some friendly competition with our arcade-style Golden Tee game and the classic stand-up Ms. Pacman/Galaga arcade game. If you fancy a quieter moment, you'll find a selection of puzzle books, reading books, and board games scattered throughout the cozy basement bedrooms. And for our poker enthusiasts, we have a poker tabletop complete with chips ready for some thrilling games! Plus, don’t miss out on the indoor putting green tucked away in the storage area under the stairs.
The fully equipped kitchen on the main level is perfect for preparing meals with pots and pans, bakeware, a coffee machine (grounds and filters provided), toaster, tumblers, wine and champagne glasses, coffee mugs, various cooking utensils and tools, a large selection of spices, cooking oil, flatware and table settings for 12 guests. In addition to the main kitchen, there is a kitchenette/wet bar area equipped with a full sized refrigerator, sink, microwave, Keurig coffee machine (BYO K=cups), electric tea pot and a mini bar with bar tools.
Outdoors under the large porch, enjoy a picnic table and chairs, lounge chair and hammock, prepare a delicious meal on the gas grill (propane provided) or relax at the attached firepit area (BYO firewood). On the porch, enjoy the firepit table, a meal at the outdoor dining set and an unobstructed view of the lake. Explore the private sandy beach equipped with 4 lounge chairs or the lake with the 2 kayaks and 2 paddle boards on property.
The property is also fully equipped with modern amenities including high-speed fiber optic internet, electric appliances and a full sized washer and dryer. Whether you're streaming your favorite shows or simply relaxing by the lake, you’ll have all the comforts of home.
There are 8 total parking spaces for you and your guests located on the driveway. No campers or vehicles with any sleeping capacity will be allowed on property, however tents are welcome.
While the estate offers plenty of outdoor space to explore, it does not have dedicated trails for ATVs or snowmobiles. Guests are encouraged to use nearby public trails or roads that permit such activities. The surrounding properties are private and do not allow ATV or snowmobile access. Please refer to the county website for trail locations, and your cooperation with these guidelines is greatly appreciated.
The location is also perfect for outdoor enthusiasts, with Castle Rock Lake—a 17,000-acre boating and fishing paradise—just a short drive away. Quiet hours are from 10 PM-8 AM. There are other homes in the area, so please be respectful of your neighbors.

We have one outdoor security camera mounted by the front access door.
Parking notes: There is free parking for 8 vehicles. No vehicles with any sleeping capacity are allowed, however tents are welcomed.
