Welcome to The Giraffe House, your private lakefront escape located just an hour from the Twin Cities on Lake Pulaski!
Inside The Giraffe House you will find comfortable and modern living with a fully equipped kitchen. This kitchen is perfect for those who love to cook; you’ll find a pantry full of spices and all the kitchen equipment necessary to make a delicious meal.
The dining table sits 8 with plenty of room for eating, games and conversation. The home is equipped with a wireless sound system that can be played upstairs or downstairs or both; along with two big screen TV’s if you want to chill out in the evening.
The master bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom with a tub that overlooks the lake for a relaxed bubble bath. All three bedrooms have walk-in closets with two bedrooms having very comfortable queen-sized Murphy beds that can be left down when in use or raised to expand your living area. In the garage you will also find two bikes available for your use on the biking path that can be accessed right across the street.
This house is designed to be enjoyed as a comfortable and beautiful Minnesota lake retreat. It sits virtually on top of the water with views that naturally capture the beauty of the lake. The lakeside deck has a table for outdoor dining, a gas grill and a wood-fired pizza oven, along with a cushioned seating area for conversation that captures the spirit of lake living. Next to the deck is a martini deck/yoga platform sitting in the middle of the garden looking out over all the lake’s activities.
The 32-foot dock ends in over 10 feet of clear water inviting you to jump in and perfect for swimming in the beautiful waters of Lake Pulaski. Ladders on both sides of the dock help you get back up for another jump in.

• All guests must be over the age of 25, unless part of a family unit. Verification may be required.
• All check-ins are contactless! To provide this service, we require a photo of yourself holding your ID to verify your identity, to be emailed or texted to our reservations department prior to check-in. No exceptions. (Please be aware that we do not have staff available to meet guests in person on site for this purpose.)
• Bookings made within 7 days of arrival will require additional credit card documentation.
• A Minnestay Rental Agreement must be signed prior to arrival. This will require that you provide us with your email address. Please inquire about the terms and conditions prior to booking. More info can be found on the Minnestay website, under Guest Services - Rental Policies.
• No smoking inside of the home. This includes e-cigarette and vape.
• This property may have a noise monitoring device on the interior of the home. Additional noise monitoring devices may be located in gathering spaces on the exterior of the home, as well.
• No events! This home is designed for families and responsible adults. Restrictions include, but are not limited to: Weddings and wedding celebrations, bachelorette/bachelor gatherings, and reunions.
• No pets allowed!
• Please note that you are staying in a private home and not a hotel. We expect that you will treat it with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to resolve them as quickly as we are able.
• Consumable amenities provided by Minnestay are not refilled during stay.
• Quiet Hours: 10PM-7AM. We love our neighbors! Please be respectful of the permanent residents on either side of this property.
• Direct bookings or other online booking sources may be subject to a 3% cancellation fee.
Deviation from these rules can result in an eviction from the premises with no refund, as stated in the signed rental agreement.
