Suite apartment on the first floor, (sleeps 4) consisting of an equipped kitchen finished with hand-painted tiles, gas cooking area, refrigerator, and spacious fireplace. Large living room furnished with antique furniture and sofas, double bedroom with canopied double bed with an additional single bed and an antique cradle for a baby, bedroom with single bed, bathroom with spacious mosaic shower. Available covered outdoor terrace with rattan table and armchairs for the exclusive use of the apartment. All rooms offer accurate finishes and a warm welcome with oak parquet flooring, double-glazed chestnut windows and antique wooden furniture. This solution is suitable for families and/or groups of friends.
Double bedroom on the ground floor with large panoramic terrace, (sleeps 2) consisting of double bedroom with entrance door also suitable for the disabled, large welcoming bathroom with handles and large shower. There is an adjacent large covered terrace/porch with terracotta flooring, panoramic view, furnished with two sofas and tables, an ideal setting for lunch/dinner near a large brick barbecue. This solution is suitable for young and elderly couples.
Each room has a unique and private entrance and a large shaded area with tables and chairs (portico and/or terrace). All rooms are furnished with authentic antique wooden furniture and numerous antiques.
Available to customers is free wi-fi, ample private parking, a bathroom line with quality soaps, television and a built-in barbecue in the outdoor area with a large grill and wood available (on request you can be assisted in preparing the grill) .
Laundry service available; upon request and preference, the room is furnished with pure linen fabrics and sheets.
The residence offers a large garden with aromatic herbs in pots and in the open field (marjoram, thyme, sage, mint, rosemary) and specifically the cultivation of over 500 lavender plants offering splendid flowering borders in June/July. In the property terraces with precious and characteristic dry stone walls are visible.
There are farmyard animals, hens and geese are raised in specific outdoor areas, with fresh eggs available every day. Cocker spaniel dogs are bred as amateurs at the property.
The hazelnut grove and all the crops surrounding the structure comply with the regulations required by organic crops in total well-being and respect for nature.
During their stay, guests will be able to assist in the working of the land, following the seasonal period they will be able to participate in the grape harvest and in the olive harvest, collect seasonal vegetables and fruit and will be able to understand the local tradition and history and appreciate the naturalistic values.
La Nocciolaia develops an excellent variety of selected organic crops (olive grove, hazelnut grove, mixed vegetable garden, vineyard, apple orchard).
The area is uncontaminated and the proximity to the wooded environment and the cultivated hills has favored the constant presence of numerous species of animals, there are numerous varieties of wild animals such as wild boar, badger, fox, ferret, dormouse, wolf. There are a large number of butterflies and in late spring nights you can watch the magnificent and elegant show of dancing fireflies. We note the presence of numerous species of birds including passerines and birds of prey such as owls and barn owls. The presence of binoculars mounted on tripods allows you to fully enjoy the vision of the wealth of numerous bird specimens (bird watching).
