Strip malls, small businesses, and loyal natives boasting a no-frills attitude fill the spaces in between the greenery and residential areas. Guests can enjoy a scenic view of Lady Bird Lake and the city beyond while taking a walk along The Boardwalk. The neighborhood is home to many artists and musicians whose influences color the community in classic Austin fashion. Visit hotspots like Buzzmill coffee, The Bazaar or Emo’s, one of the most prominent nightclubs in Austin for chart-topping musicians and performers.Getting Around:We recommend that guests rent a car during your stay in Austin as many of Austin’s best attractions and fun things to do are scattered around the city and much more convenient when accessed by car. While there are certainly public transportation options such as buses and individual transportation options such as scooters/bikes/mopeds, these options are mainly convenient and readily available around the downtown Austin area and quickly becomes sparse even a couple miles outside of city center. Rideshare apps such as Uber and Lyft are also great options but expenses can quickly add up as Austin rideshare rates are on the higher end and can surge very high during busy times, such as 2AM on weekends and during large events such as SXSW, conferences, F1, etc.Other Things to Note:★★★ PRE-STAY GUEST VERIFICATION IS REQUIRED ★★★To abide by all legal requirements and property security rules, you may be asked to provide a copy of your official government-issued photo ID, confirm your contact information, pass through our verification portal, and/or, in some instances, complete a criminal background check.Important note: The information is collected for screening and verification only and is not stored or used for any other purposes.Please be advised that all guests will be asked to sign a rental usage agreement that governs the terms of the stay. We reserve the right to cancel any reservation that does not meet our verification check criteria.★ Other Things to Note ★- Some areas of the complex are restricted to guests (and not listed as amenities), please message us prior to booking to confirm- We would love to welcome guests who book our apartment the same day of their arrival, but please be aware that your check-in may be a bit delayed (to as late as 7 pm) as we rush to prepare the unit for your arrival. Guests who book more than 24 hours in advance will be able to check-in by 4 pm.- We provide all of our guests a starter kit of consumables such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry pods, dishwasher pods, etc. Guests can purchase any additional consumables from nearby grocery stores that you think you might need during your stay beyond what's included in the starter kit.- The apartment complex may run maintenance or clean, and other shared amenities as they see fit at any time. Please be aware.- Please be aware that Texas is known for having all sorts of bugs and creatures, especially during the summer, that wander around and can sometimes get into the home. Bugs and creatures such as silverfish, earwigs, cockroaches/waterbugs, scorpions, spiders, wasps, mosquitoes, flies, snails, moths, ants, etc. are all very common in Texas and the South in general, and might show up in the home from time-to-time. The presence of a few of these critters does not indicate any sort of infestation in the home, as usually it's just the critters trying to escape the blistering heat or the freezing cold like everyone else.Pets ARE allowed depending on size, please let us know beforehand and be upfront about bringing a pet to avoid cancellation.
