About this space
Welcome to the Island!
Located on a private island (*boat access only) in the intracoastal waterway, VIP Island is minutes from Melbourne & only a 1.5 hr drive from Orlando. The perfect spot for fishing, paddling or just to relax and enjoy seaside living.
The home is 2 story Cape Cod style beach house located on the northern tip of the island. Surrounded by water and plenty of beach, it's the perfect spot to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Kick off your shoes, bring your bathing suit and enjoy!
The space:
After your boat ride across the waterway you will arrive at the Island to be dropped off at the private dock leading to the house.
The entire home is surrounded by water for breathtaking views of the beautiful nature of coastal Florida.
As a guest you will be staying on the upper floor of the house (bottom floor remains locked & is currently used for storage); There are stairs on either side of the house leading to the upstairs entrances. The key lock box is located next to upstairs door on W side.
The home is a rustic, Cape Cod style house with giant screened porch on top floor; The large, airy living/dining room has 2 couches, big screen TV for entertainment and a large dining table that seats 6; Additional seating and dining areas are available on the porch if you want to enjoy the sea breeze as you dine, take a nap, read or just kick back, relax and enjoy the sunrise/sunset.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with all the necessities of home including cookware, dinnerware, utensils and small appliances. Fresh, filtered water is also provided.
The 4 bedrooms are along the back hallway and offer cozy mattresses, high quality linens, closet space for stowing personal items, ceiling fans for extra air flow. The bedrooms are on the small side but provide all you need for a comfortable nights rest.

BEDROOM 2 – Full bed with twin bunk, closet.
BEDROOM 3 – Full bed with twin bunk, closet.
BEDROOM 4 - Queen bed, closet, TV, Armoire.
All bedrooms have great views looking out the windows; There are extra pillows and blankets if needed; Additional sheets are also available.
There are 2 bathrooms located across the hall from the bedrooms. Both bathrooms offer newly renovated showers, pedestal sinks, plenty of fresh fluffy towels and basic toiletries.
Outside on the island you will have access to lots of beach front for sports or sunbathing, the private dock for fishing (there are several fishing rods available and bait stores nearby); Kayaks and paddles are stowed at back of the house.
There are plenty of chairs and outdoor seating around the island to enjoy views of the river, huddle around the fire pit or soak up the sun.
This is the place to be if you are looking to break away from the fast pace of life and unwind.
Guest access
Guests have access to the entire upper floor of the home as well as the grounds of the property. There are 3 kayaks and paddles available for use; The island has a walk path that guests can use to view the lay of the land or access the public 'beach' located at the SW side of the island. Please be mindful of other owners/guests staying on the island and be respectful of their property.
Other things to note
The house is accessible only by boat. It is a short distance from the mainland to the island. Guests may bring their own boat to access the island or arrangements can be made with a local boat taxi to pick guests up and carry to/from the home. A marina is located just 10 minutes across the river to launch from if using your own boat. There is a private dock for boat parking at the island home. The local boat taxi is available for a fee per trip. This fee is separate from booking charges/fees. Please message us for more information.
