HOTEL POLICIES, RULES AND REGULATIONS
In order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, we invite you to authorize the following AGREEMENT between the GUEST and LAYLA TULUM (hereinafter referred to as the Hotel), which will be necessary for the use of the rooms. It is the sole responsibility of the guest signing the registration card to inform his/her roommates of the policies, rules and regulations of the hotel.
1. Check In/Check Out Check In/Check Out:
* CHECK IN time is at 3:00 p.m and CHECK OUT time is at 11:00 a.m.
* Guests will be required to show a valid ID (PASSPORT) and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all special requests are subject to availability and may incur extra charges.
* LATE CHECK OUT is subject to hotel availability; and if granted an additional charge applies.
2. A damage deposit of USD 300 will be required upon arrival. This will be made by credit card. The guest agrees to guarantee payment for all rooms and additional charges billed to the room by credit card or cash on arrival. All charges must be settled prior to departure, personal cheques are not accepted. The guest agrees that the hotel will hold the amount of $300 USD as a HOLD on their card or $500 USD in cash, which will be refunded upon check out and full completion of payment of all charges related to the room and guests staying. In the event that consumptions exceed the deposit the Management will request an extra deposit or immediate settlement of the deposit. In case of non-payment of fees by a guest, the Management shall have the right to his luggage and belongings. It will be refunded 14 - 45 days after check-out. The deposit will be refunded in full by credit card once the accommodation has been checked out.
3. The hotel room has a safe deposit box for your use free of charge. The hotel is not responsible for money, jewellery or other valuables that the guest does not deposit in the safe deposit box.
4. Smoking is prohibited inside the establishment.
5. Animals and/or pets are not allowed inside the establishment.
6. It is forbidden to use audio players with high volume inside the room and in the balcony areas. All guests must respect these rules and maintain silence between the hours of 10:00 pm to 10:00 am, for the full satisfaction and conformity of mutual rest among hotel guests.
7. The consumption of food or beverages in common areas, swimming pools or restaurants that have not been provided by the hotel is prohibited. In this case, the guest may only consume them in his/her room. The consumption of alcoholic beverages within the facilities not provided by the hotel is prohibited.
8. Only the guest or guests registered at the reception may stay in the hotel (room). Each room can have up to 2 visitors. From the 3rd person onwards a minimum consumption per person is charged. If the two guests of the room wish to go in the pool they will have a minimum consumption of 1,000 MXN per person. The hotel reserves the right of admission.
9. The guest will be responsible for any loss or damage to hotel property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible. All damages will be assessed by the hotel management and must be paid for prior to departure.
10. The hotel has the right to cancel the accommodation contract and request the guest to vacate their room in the following cases:
A) For violating any provision of these regulations.
B) When the guest's behaviour is disrespectful and causes a nuisance to others within the hotel premises.
C) If the guest is absent from the hotel for more than 48 hours, without prior notice to the hotel. (The hotel may retain the guest's luggage and belongings left in the room as security).
D) If the guest shows signs of illness and is suffering from a contagious disease.
11. Guests are requested to inform themselves about and comply with applicable acts and laws as well as governmental rules and regulations in force.
12. The use of professional cameras, drones and the use of photographs or videos taken at the hotel for commercial or public purposes is not permitted without PRIOR AUTHORISATION from the Hotel Management as different costs are charged for the service.
13. Keys are handed over at reception at the end of the stay. In case of loss or misplacement of keys, the hotel will be entitled to charge an extra $10usd per lost card/key.
14. It is strictly forbidden (without exception) to remove towels from the room and the hotel. Towels inside the rooms are for the exclusive use of the property only. In the event that the guest requires additional towels within the establishment, they will be requested and delivered to reception. It is the guest's responsibility to return extra towels to reception at the end of the day. In case of loss or damage of towels, an extra charge per unit and type will be made.
POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS -
1. Pool hours 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
2. Swimming suits are compulsory for all ages.
3. Suntan lotion, oils and/or sand are not allowed in the pool.
4. Please use the shower before entering the pool.
5. Prohibited to enter the pool while under the influence of alcohol.
6. It is forbidden to bring food in and around the pool area.
7. Drinks in glasses or glass bottles may not be brought into the pool.
8. No smoking or chewing gum inside the pool.
9. No horseplay and no diving in the pool.
10. No access for minors.
11. Animals are not allowed in the pool.
12. Please dispose of your rubbish in its place.
13. The use of audio equipment is forbidden.
14. There will be no set aside of beds, therefore the administration will not be responsible for lost objects. If any belongings are found, they will be kept at the reception desk as lost property.
