Sweyn House is the perfect home for large families or groups of friends looking for a break by the sea. Ideally situated between the beach and the local Cliftonville High Street, Sweyn House is a fully equipped and comfortable property, suitable for long or short stays.
Sleeping up to ten guests across three floors, this spacious home features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, a separate WC and a rear patio area suitable for outdoor dining.
The Space:
Sweyn House is a lovely home perfectly located near the beach and the High Street, allowing you to experience the comfort of the urban area and the relaxing vibe ofoperty the sea.
As you set foot in Sweyn House, you will be welcomed by the bright hallway, painted in white and decorated with lovely photo frames. The home itself is beautifully designed with white interiors complemented by earth-toned accents.
To your right, you will see a WC room that conveniently doubles as a laundry area with a washing machine. On your left, you will find a modern and bright kitchen, boasting a minimalist design and equipped with essential amenities, including a fridge/freezer, electric hob and oven, microwave, kettle, and more!
The open plan and living and dining area is a delightful space to relax! With high ceilings and glass doors which open out onto the patio, creating an airy ambience. Two sofas sit opposite each other so there is ample seating for all guests. A large wooden table also occupies the space with matching padded chairs around it.
The patio, featuring pebble floors and outdoor furniture, is the perfect spot for relaxation or an outdoor barbecue with the family or group.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are located on the upper floors. As you head up the first floor, you will have access to the first bedroom with a bunk bed, comfortably sleeping up to 2 guests. The second bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a comfortable leather chair. Featuring a desk which can be utilised for work, studies, or as a dressing table. You will also find the first bathroom on the first floor, boasting a WC, a basin, a bathtub and a separate shower.
Go up to another floor and you will find two more bedrooms! Both are bright double bedrooms, painted in white and have access to windows offering views of the neighborhood. One of these bedrooms includes a desk that can serve as your workspace or your vanity table. Another clean and sparkling bathroom is on this floor, featuring a bathtub and a separate shower along with a WC and a basin.
We have additional sofa beds you can use with all the bedding provided.

Host & Stay are committed to our owners so that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a £250.00 Damage Deposit (subject to a £10.00 administration charge), or to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver for £25.00 which will cover you for up to £500.00 of accidental damage during your stay.
Guest Access:
Guests have access to the full property. The keys to the property are accessed via a secure key safe and full details will be provided shortly before your arrival date.

Margate is an exciting seaside resort on England’s South East coast. Situated on the Isle of Thanet overlooking the North Sea, Margate boasts beautiful sandy beaches and a long pier for leisurely walks and fishing. If you're looking for something a little different, pop down to the largest tidal pool in the UK. Walpole Bay Tidal Pool is a Grade II-listed structure perfect for swimming on a beautiful sunny day or on a frosty morning for a refreshing quick dip. Close by you can also find mini golf, tennis court, cafe and indoor bowls for some additional fun.
Getting Around:
Margate rail station is a 30-minute walk from the house with regular routes to London, Canterbury and Ashford.
The nearby towns of Dover and Whitstable can be reached via car under 50 minutes so Kent can be explored easily. The popular city of Canterbury can be reached in 45 minutes and the beautiful town of Broadstairs is a short 10-minute drive away too!
If you’re looking to explore via bus during your stay, Margate is serviced by ‘The Loop’. This runs every day and connects Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate.
Take a trip on the 8 to take in the sights of Canterbury, hop on the 34 for a trip to Ramsgate, or jump on board the 36 to visit Herne Bay.
All of London’s airports are easily accessible from Margate via rail and road, making the town accessible to travellers from across the globe.
