This Lake of Bays cottage is located on the South Portage Road side of the lake meaning that it is only a 2-hour drive from Toronto. Baysville and Huntsville are only a 10 and 15-minute drive away, respectively. In addition, the cottage is located at the most central part of the lake with Bigwin golf and the sailing club is minutes away by boat. Although on the main lake, the cottage is tucked away from boat traffic and is generally sheltered from the prevailing wind.

Lux Muskoka with Muskoka Room - Although brand new with all the luxury amenities including large floor-to-ceiling windows, this new post and beam cottage was designed to feel like a grand Muskoka resort with its vaulted ceiling and large timber trusses. The lot is very unique whereby the cottage sits 30 feet from the edge of the water in total privacy from the neighbours at both the cottage and at the dock. The Cottage was built specifically to take advantage of this natural surroundings with a large screened-in Muskoka room that features a vaulted octagon post and beam ceiling, a stone gas fireplace and a dining area. There are many different outdoor seating areas to take in the lake view including the hot tub, lakeside swing chairs, the lakeside firepit and a large stone deck with 5 chairs. There is a large deep water dock and a post and beam one slip boat house complete with a waterside bar. The property gets beautiful sunrises and with the large dock, its gets sun all the way to dinner time. The cottage is also perfect for families with a slide raft, lily pad, kids kayaks, sandbox, protected shallow water area with separate stairs, outdoor kids swing and playground and a large kid's 4-bed bunk room. Although the cottage was designed to pull in the best of that older Muskoka feel it has all the modern amenities such as a 6-zone Sonos sound system, air conditioner, generator and a chef's kitchen.

Gourmet kitchen with a granite top island with seating for four. A chef-style kitchen complete with a lake view and includes hanging pots, high-end appliances with induction cooktop, separate wine fridge and there is a separate full-sized fridge in the basement.
DINING ROOM
The 9-foot-long dining room table rests underneath a beautifully designed antler chandelier and can seat 10 people.
GREAT ROOM
Soaring cathedral post and beam ceilings, wood-burning fireplace and floor-to-ceiling window walls facing the lake. Furnished with two couches, a rocking chair, a wood-burning fireplace, a chess table with seating for two, and a canoe-inspired chandelier.
MUSKOKA ROOM
The pride of the cottage, this octagon vaulted ceiling post and beam screened-in porch features a stone fireplace with an open gas insert, a large swing couch, 3 season windows that can be pulled up on colder nights and warmed with the fireplace, a dining table that can seat 8, an outdoor bar area and two large ultra comfy wing-backed wicker chairs with ottomans.

A small office rests on the main floor and is furnished with a wooden table and matching chair.
LOWER LEVEL
Large area finished in a nautical theme and features a 60-inch TV, couch, love seat and two chairs.
There is a large carpeted area that can be used for a kids' play area and features a separate kids' arts and crafts room.
BOATHOUSE
One slip post and beam boathouse rest on top of a spacious dock with many seating areas, a lakeside bar with seating for 3 and a bar fridge.
