Designed and decorated by a Canadian artist, the villa features a mix of contemporary paintings and vintage Thai art posters/sculptures and various other decorations such as stacked logs to help you reminisce about your last winter. If you're lucky you might get a visit from the wild peacocks that roam the property freely, aswell as other bird species and butterflies. The villa features a private infinity pool and another Olympic size-ish common pool that is most of the time left unused by the other guests in the Panorama community. The lights turn on at night if you want to go for a night swim and enjoy the stars.Location (Panorama Pool Villas in Khao Tao for GPS Searches):- 5 min walk to a cute restaurant and massage parlour- 2 min drive to Korea Golf Club (formerly Milford Golf)- 5 min drive to Family Mart / Massage / Coffee shops / Bakery on Phetkasem and Soi 105- 5 min drive to the lovely Sai Noi beach and Sanae Beach Club- 5 min drive to 5 different temples- 5 min drive to the Pranburi Forrest Park that has a magnificent mangrove walkway- 5 min drive to Indie Loft Kitchen: the most delicious local cuisine in the area, managed by a smiling local family- 5 min drive to Thaiwaii Live music bar: multiple talented live acts every week (You can also take the stage)- 10 min drive to Rajabhakti Park: monument featuring gigantic statues of the 7 great kings of Thailand- 10 min drive to Seapine Golf Club- 10 min drive to Vana Nava Waterpark- 15 min drive to Bluport mallTHE SPACEThe villa is beautifully nestled between two mountains in the Khao Tao area of Huahin (Turtle Mountain). From the living room and the outdoor spaces, you can see greenery everywhere and a glimpse of the sea. If you look carefully, there are some 15 different types of rare orchids around the property.The covered outdoor sala area has a custom built-in sofa that sits 6 people comfortably and a white marble table with indirect lighting at the floor level. There's a long pool deck with 2 sun beds by the pool. At night, solar powered embedded lights in the deck turn on, creating a relaxing vibe. A gas powered BBQ grill sits next to the sala. I suggest grabbing some large prawns directly from the fishermen at the pier in Khao Takieb, and don't forget the green seafood sauce!The living room is an open area with a 5m high wooden clad ceiling in the Balinese style. You can watch movies from your computer with the Apple TV / there's also an HDMI cable available just in case. Sorry, no cable TV available, but you can always enjoy the scenery or read a good book ;) The rattan inspired sofa design seats 4 comfortably.Jenga blocks and 3D glasses are available if you need to take this to a new level.The dining table fits 6 chairs with rattan backrests. The kitchen has a FRANKE oven and stove top, microwave, toaster, espresso coffee machine and all the pots and pans you'll ever need.The master suite has a king size bed, tropical hardwood floors and a 5m high wooden clad ceiling. It has direct access to the pool, en-suite bathroom with a stylish shower, a large flatscreen TV with a DVD player and plenty of storage, including a safe deposit box. Theres an extra super soft mattress cover that is sure to send you to slumberland.The 2 other bedrooms have queen size beds, garden views and share a bathroom that is located in the hallway.There are banana trees on the property and you might be able to grab some directly from the trees. If it's not the season, there might be some in the freezer that you can add to your shakes in the morning.The maids will come twice a week to wash linens and towels. If daily service is required, we can discuss.GUEST ACCESSYou'll be able to enjoy the villa in considerable privacy. The neighbours are retired Europeans who are in and out of Thailand, so be mindful of the noise in the wee hours of the night if you notice them around. The community is a very quiet place.There's a lovely tiny gardening lady who covers her face like a ninja to protect herself against the sun. She comes almost daily to maintain the property. She's the one responsible for keeping the 2 topiary rabbits alive in the entrance. Also, twice a week the pool boys come to make sure the pool is well taken care of.INTERACTION WITH GUESTSI'm usually around Huahin, so I'll gladly meet you and be available to recommend some restaurants and activities such as a hidden sauna managed by some monks in a temple nearby.Do message me at least, and I'll respond. In addition, an English speaking manager is always on call if you need anything. If there's any issue with water or electricity, rest assured, help will be on the way.
