The cottage is spread over 3 levels and can accommodate 6 people. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms. On the middle floor there is another 1 bedroom, living room, bathroom and a fresh, modern kitchen. Down in the basement is the last bedroom and a recreation room. There are 2 patios where you can enjoy nice sunny days and a barbecue area for cozy barbecue evenings. The house is close to a large playground, which the children will surely find fun.
To see and do in Brålanda and the surrounding area
From the holiday home you have plenty of attractions and activities to choose from. Brålanda is located in Dalsland, which is known for its beautiful nature. Hike in Kroppefjäll with its beautiful hiking trails, lakes and mountains.
For warm and sunny days, it is close to the bathing spots Vänersnäs and Nordkroken. Enticing a more active holiday, you can canoe in the huge range of lakes and canals. Tip on where to rent a canoe is at Skräcklan in Vänersborg. If you are interested, fishing in Värnen and Kroppefjäll is a must. Kroppefjäll also offers beautiful hiking trails with fantastic natural surroundings where you can also visit a "nature church" right next to a beautiful little pond. For those interested in golf, there are several golf courses nearby, in Färgelanda, Mellerud, Trollhällan or Vänersborg. There are also plenty of hiking trails in the area. Ex. 30 minutes from the cabin are Halle and HunneBerg, known for moose hunting. There are waterfalls, beautiful nature and hiking trails to experience.
Less than 2 miles from the accommodation, you will find Bore Kulle, where parts of Astrid Lindgren's Ronja Rövardotter were recorded and it also offers a wonderful view of Lake Örssjön and Lake Vänern. On clear days you can glimpse Kinnekulle on the other side of Lake Vänern. Take the opportunity to swim at the jetty in Örssjön at Strömmersvik bathing area. If the sea beckons, Uddevalla is about an hour's drive away. North of Uddevalla there is also the House of the Sea and the Ark of the Nordics. Two popular destinations that are appreciated by children and adults alike.
