Ludlow, a historic market town, is a shopper's dream. The town has many places to eat and drink, including Michelin starred pubs and restaurants as well as a number of exclusive boutique style clothes and gift shops. With more than 500 listed buildings, the town provides a fascinating range of architecture including Ludlow Castle. The Cow Byre is within easy reach of Church Stretton (described as little Switzerland by the Victorians), Shrewsbury and Hereford, as well as popular attractions such as the World Heritage site of Ironbridge Gorge, birthplace of the industrial revolution, and the worlds first iron bridge. The Severn Valley Railway in Bridgnorth, Berrington Hall, Croft Castle and Cardingmill Valley and Much Wenlock are also all within a 30 minute drive.
