This semi-detached house is perfect for families and friends looking to relax or spending your days finding a new adventure. There are fantastic coastal walks, you can visit the lighthouse on Portland Bill and Portland Castle. There are many water activities to participate in such as diving, fishing, boat trips, canoeing and sailing. The sailing events for the 2012 Olympics were held in Portland and Weymouth so there is no better place to go.
There is a causeway linking the island to the mainland and the famous World Heritage Jurassic Coast, see if you can find any fossils during your walk. Weymouth is a short drive away with plenty of things to do including Sandworld Weymouth and Jurassic Safaris.
Further afield you can visit Abbotsbury Swannery, Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door, Swanage with its steam engine which can take you to the National Trust site of Corfe Castle and Bovington Tank Museum, which includes the world's first ever tank. After your day out exploring, the garden at Pebble Reef is the perfect place to relax with the terrace and summerhouse for you to enjoy. Beach ¾ mile. Shop, pub and restaurant ½ mile.
