Ideally suited for a small family or couples walking break, this cottage is decorated throughout in classic country style with floral wallpaper and wooden furniture, it has an immediate homely feel. Featuring an electric fire, the sitting room is the best place to get warmed up on those chilly winter evenings, so you can snuggle up on the plush red sofas and talk over the day's events, or maybe watch a film on the TV before going to bed. Venturing into the open-plan kitchen and dining room, you can make use of the modern appliances like the stylish electric oven and induction hob, amidst the quaint cream painted kitchen units, with a lovely solid wood dining table and chairs in the corner. Moving upstairs, there are two bedrooms, a double and a twin, both charmingly decorated with bright airy colours and floral wallpaper for the ultimate cottage feel, along with a stunning vintage bathroom suite in excellent condition with attractive pink and blue tiling. To the outside there is a small garden and patio area with some pretty seating, for those summer evenings when its warm enough to sit out with a glass of wine, or maybe a local ale you've picked up along the way. The village itself is at the heart of the walker's paradise of Upper Wenslydale, and offers a pub serving food, a village green and a children's playground so you don't need to go far for the essentials. Situated close to well-known Aysgarth Falls and the impressive Bolton Castle - which dates back to 1379 â€" the idyllic Wensleydale village of Carperby is set within excellent walking country.
