Outside, a lovely wooden deck looks out over the garden and is an ideal spot to start or end the day in the glorious Cornish sunshine from mid morning to sunset. There is a small field and also shared access to a larger paddock for exercising your canine companion.

Within a short drive are the beautiful sandy beaches and dramatic cliffs of the north coast and the meandering creeks and tidal moorings of the Roseland Peninsula. The National Trust owned woodland park at Trelissick and the sub-tropical gardens at Glendurgan and Trebah, are well worth a visit, not to mention The Eden Project, Cornwall's spectacular global garden. A wonderful day trip can be had from Truro to Falmouth along the stunning Fal estuary with many options to disembark and pick up the boat later along the scenic river trip.
