Located one house from Buddina beach this beautiful timber home is spacious, full of light, air conditioned and also close to Point Cartwright, Mooloolaba, Caloundra and beach-side walking and cycling paths. Ample bedding for a family or group of friends with three bedrooms.Fully fenced, large garden, extra wide verandahs and only one rooftop to the beach. Milk bar opposite, nearby sheltered boat ramp, swimming beach, lighthouse, Shopping Centre. All opposite a dog friendly beach. Your pets are welcome.The spaceThe house is elevated on wooden logs and has polished wooden floor boards throughout. With its high ceilings, open plan living and indoor and outdoor spaces you can relax in the bedrooms, living room, front or rear decks. It is tastefully decorated and takes advantage of sea breezes with opening ceiling skylights. The house faces west so breakfast on the front deck in the shade is perfect.The local shop is great for drinks, ice-creams, fish n chips and snacks to keep everyone happy. Shopping is a 2 minute drive away or a short walk, as is Dan Murphys and the Kawana Waters Hotel. The surf club is a short walk or drive to the patrolled beach and dining.PARKINGThere is undercover parking directly under the house. You can park up to four vehicles under cover. Further parking is available on the road directly in front of the house. BEDROOMSThis is a 3 bedroom home with:- Bedroom 1 - Master Bedroom (Queen Bed with AC)& Ensuite bathroom- Bedroom 2 - (Queen Bed)- Bedroom 3 - (2 x Single Beds)- Lounge All bedrooms and lounge have quiet overhead fans and main living area is air conditioned.BATHROOMSThere is a main bathroom with shower and tub for use of all guests. The Master Bedroom has its own ensuite bathroom.KITCHENThe house has a modern kitchen with fridge, electric oven & cooktop, microwave and dishwasher. We supply all crockery, cutlery, pots and pans. Nespresso coffee pod machine and milk warmer.There is a gas BBQ on the back deck.The house laundry has a washing machine, clothes racks, iron, ironing board and also a clothes line in the yard.The house has free and unlimited NBN high speed internet for your use when you are here.We provide all covers, pillows, linen, sheets, pillow slips, towels, beach towels, bath Use at own risk. mats, and tea towels for your use during your visit with us.There is a large open plan lounge, dining, kitchen space, that spills out to the outdoor patio, dining area. There is a separate indoor dining room / table. Coupled with the outdoor dining table you are spoiled with dining options.The house is supplied with cards, games, excellent books, internet, chromecast, free to air TV.A great feature of this property is its amazing location. Here you get the best of all worlds:- You are only a 5 minute drive from Mooloolaba- You have a kilometres long beach directly behind the house- The Kawana Surf Club and its patrolled beach is only a 5 minute walk away- You can take your morning, or afternoon walks along the coastal path behind the house north up to the Point Cartwright Lighthouse, or south towards Caloundra. There is more dog friendly beach here to walk, than you probably have the time or energy to do- The Mooloolah River, parks, picnics, boats, cafe, is a 10 minute walk away- Kawana Shopping Centre - the Sunshine Coasts second biggest shopping centre is a short walk or drive away. With over 150 shops and a brand new cinema, there will be something here for anyone in your family or groupGuest accessGuests have sole and complete access to the house, decks, verandahs, under house parking and yard. In the parking area is a lockup shed with room for surfboards, bikes or body boards. There are scooters,cricket bat and ball for beach games. The house has a stock of good books and board games for the use of guests.Other things to noteThere are a couple of surf breaks at the local beach for short boards, and other breaks along the coast a short drive in either direction that will suit both short and long-boards.Point Cartwright is good when the wind is blowing from the north east as its protected. If there are offshore winds the breaks at Dicky, Ann St, Moffats or Wurley drive are pretty good. Going north Alex Headland has excellent beach break at the surf club, and the Bluff is popular for longboards.If you have a pet, most of the beaches in this area are off leash. You can also walk or cycle on the sealed paths with excellent views over the water. If you are here in September/October look out for humpback whales as they often breach between Pt Cartwright and Caloundra and into the Mooloolaba bay area.
